Cognitive Behavioral Therapy

Sometimes we believe the things about ourselves that aren’t accurate. Those unhealthy thoughts turn into unhealthy behaviors. It’s possible to get to the heart of those self-perceptions, find the patterns in our behavior, and develop coping skills for life’s stressors.

What Is Cognitive Behavioral Therapy?

Cognitive Behavioral Therapy is a form of psychological treatment in which we work together to help you change thought and behavioral patterns. It begins by learning how to identify negative core beliefs about ourselves. What current or recurring problems stem from those thoughts? Together, we look at those thoughts and behaviors in a new light.

 

A Pathway Forward

It’s easy for us to believe the lies we tell about ourselves and the lies that others have said about us, but it takes time and energy to remember the truth: we are wholly and dearly loved, worthy and wonderfully made. Face your fears. Restore your sense of self-worth. Find compassion for who you are. Build confidence in your own abilities. Let’s take steps forward to do this good work, together.
